Why the Original Ghostwriter nickname?

I was given my nickname, The Original Ghostwriter of Fleet Street, by a master sports cartoonist called Roy Ullyett. He drew this cartoon of me in 1966 after I had ghostwritten an introduction to Roy's cartoon annual for England's 1966 Word Cup winning football captain Bobby Moore. This was in my days as the chief football writer for the Daily Express in London. At the time I had less flesh on me than a starving sparrow (and, yes, my nose is that big). He claimed that I was the 'original' ghostwriter because nobody could see me, I was that skinny. Some thirty years (and many pounds) later I ghosted Roy's autobiography While There's Still Lead in My Pencil. Have you considered ghostwriting a book? Go HERE for free advice from an old hand.

Remember, I am only listing all that I have done in a bid to inspire YOU. If I can do it, you can.
